item says it is in San Francisco, CA. I doubt that, the background doesnt look like SF to me.

 

i really want to own an older evo i love the evo4-6 style but nobody selling a legit one

 

^ there were a couple for sale in the For Sale forums not to long ago, one was a green rally Evo 4 and the other a TME E6, just search and you shall find.

 

green rally evo shell ive seen posted a couple of time in other forums also but the TME 6 i havent seen that thread

 

It looks like an evo in the pictures but the ad says, "Turbo No;
Drive 2WD".

 

Something seems a little fishy about that listing on that car. A lot of things in the description don't all add up

 

If you look for these cars as much as I do you'd recognize this picture is in japan. They are a handful of other JDm RHD cars such as rx7's and supra's in this same place. So it could be that the person has some links to bring it into the country.

I doubt it. Why would a SF listing be in a NY craigslist? In the specs it says the car is not turboed and its 2 wheel drive. I thought all evo's were 4 wheel drive and by the pictures I would say its turbo charged. I call BS on that.

 

Either he is bringing it over, or those are pictures from when he bought it. Either way, I would pass. Something smells fishy to me...

exactly. is it a scam... well if your dumb enough to send $ to someone without seeing a car.. then yea you deserve to be scammed.

The 2 engine bay pics dont match...look at the intake and filter.
