That sucks. Sorry for your loss. Every time an evo dies it forces yet another hapless person to buy yet another STI that I have to see on the road that thinks he's SooOO much better than anyone else...

 

coming down it was after the turn out/lookout point.

 

Similar situation happened to my old evo. I was driving home late at night in a bad rain storm with bad tires. Got on the on ramp and at the base of the on ramp where you start getting on the highway i gave it a little gas and the whole car spun beyond my control, I hit the guardrail and crushed the FMIC, radiator, some piping, and alot of body damage. I was able to drive home (30miles) with the broken headlights shining straight up. Was a sad day when the totaled it ($12,000 adjusted damage). I got another so im happy again :-D

Had a close one myself about a week ago. Glad you walked away. Did 11k in damage to mine and amazingly enough insurance is gonna fix her and shes an 03 with 82k on the clock

Dam that's a hell of a crash at 45mph I don't think I could get my evo to wipe out at 45mph it will be very hard.
