Old thread but how come so many Evo's are just "losing" traction and spinning out? There must be more to it than what people are saying?

i agree I lost traction in mine when it snowed in md. I had fresh nitto invos on and i didn't have any snow tires. Hit another car luckly only the headlight was damaged and the bumper.

Well thats a legitimate reason! But good to see damage was minimal compared to our "Rally cars" taking corners/turns at high speeds and losing grip at normal Conditions which I presume...

?! Next time try maintaining part throttle acceleration and counter-steering (don't gas it for christs sake). Oversteer is nothing to be scared of. Any car can oversteer, including Evos, or even front wheel drive cars (in certain situations). Evos can get be gotten sideways very easily, however sometimes unexpectedly (especially if there is a sudden patch of slippery surface such as a puddle or gravel). Lesson learned, at least you have your life!

The SE only came in 3 colors. Black, Silver, and Graphite grey. So no white or red, which is a bummer.
