On monday night I was coming around a corner at about 45mph when the back end kicked out. I tried giving it some gas so it would get traction but it didn't help I then hit some gravel that was on the road and it just made the situation worse. I was heading towards a guard rail over a cliff. so I just cranked the wheel, I ended up going into the side of a mountain. both air bags deployed. Just glad to be ok. Here are a few pics from the night!
My block is cracked the bell housing to tranny is cracked. I had a bolt fly threw my cam gears a break one of them. So far there is $19000 in damages with out pulling anything from the car!

I want a WW or RR evo 9 and want the 5 speed no MR

 

so they paid you out?? did you owe money on it still??? was it mostly stock or did you have mods?

 

I was up side down but have GAP. The only mod I couldn't get off was the exhaust. there was no way I could get to it with the radiator wrapped around the turbo and DP

 

Man sorry to hear about the loss. Atleast your ok and you GAP will cover your payments. The situation could have been a lot worse. Good luck.

I feel your pain.
I spun going around a corner in October. Ended up with $12k in damage but mine's getting fixed.

 

Glad you made out of that situation ok. Going over the cliff is worse than hitting the side of the mountain. Hope all goes well with the insurance.

I dont think I can go from SSL to an RS. I would love an SE but idk if that will happen!
