Agreed. The sooner, the better. Stoner's Tarminator, 3M Adhesive Remover, and Goo Gone Automotive work well for this. Most can be found at Pep Boys.

How hard is the asphalt on the tires? Could you try heating it up with a blow dryer? That might warm it up enough to easily remove it in chunks.

Wow, that sucks! I've never heard of anything like that before, but I guess on a nice warm day like that the asphalt does get a little warmer than the ambient temperature outside. I think I'd be going back to the place and complaining to whoever is in charge of that parking lot if there is any damage done to your car as a result from the asphalt. I'm not sure if you can get anywhere by doing that, but hey, its always worth a shot. Good luck getting that stuff off your car though man.

You should quit smoking

I would take off each wheel and try to peel the crap off. tar remover, as mentioned, may help. I would also complain to the manager of the shop. The lot should have been blocked off. I would have complained as soon as possible though.

Complaining was kind of a dead end cause I couldn't reach anyone. I cooled down a little and realized I can't do much. I got the crap off my bumper/paint which wasn't too bad. Getting it off my tires was a pain and killed my plans for the night. I got most of it off, I burt the rest off on my way to the casino lol

My car seems fine but I'm going to get it on a lift on sunday to check things out.
Thanks guys

I find that using a clay bar on the wheels helps remove a lot of that stubborn crap that doesn't come off with soap and hard washing.

If I were you man, I would take it up with the owners of the lot. Were any of the lot sections marked off due to recent re-pavement? If not, it sounds like they are liable for some damages done to your car. Worth a shot.

The week before there were entire sections of the lot marked with "do not enter" and other signs of that nature. Honestly after I got all the asphalt off my tires and put it on a lift and found nothing else I thought it was pointless to do anything. I have a little mark on the bottom part of the fender but it's not as bad as the burn marks from my exhaust so it doesnt bother me lol
