Can't u just ship what you need and drive the Evo ***** out all the way to CO. The only thing I can see being towed with the Evo is a single Sea Doo on a small trailer. That's it.

If you are planning on towing a jet ski.....I think you would be exceeding the maximum load capacity of the Evo. The cars total loading capacity is only like 900 pounds if I remember correctly. That includes everyone in the car and whatever you packed into the car. So if there are 2 people in the car that weigh 400lbs together, 150 pounds of luggage.....your jet ski AND trailer cannot weigh more than 250 lbs...

due to the tire compound mainly, will wear very fast also dont wanna bend any of those nice aluminum trick parts under your car.

i used to tow a jetski with my LRV and thats AWD. Didn't seem to do any damage to the VC but my torque converter just died so don't get too attatched to your clutch.

That's load capacity not pulling capacity. There's a difference, and the pulling capacity isn't listed mainly because it's not a truck. The Evo can safely handle 900 lbs of force tangent to the Earth. PUlling on the other hand will be different as that force is resting upon the axle/tires of the trailer.

Just a TV and bed? Just ship it freight. It's not worth the risk of damaging the Evo. I shouldn't cost much.

What are you talking about? Towing something light, like a jet ski, would hardly make any difference at all. What does a jet ski weight, a couple hundred pounds maybe?

An additional 200 lbs isn't going to bend any aluminum parts.

It costs 75$ for the trailer :P. I am super crunched for $ right now, as I have to move with pretty much no preparation heh. If its going to mess up anything... clutch etc, I'd rather not do it, and if general consensus is that it is going to harm my car, or possibility of harm, then I dont want to do it , even if it means waiting to ship my stuff out at a later time.

Here is what i'm talking about pulling:

http://reservations.uhaul.com/(pxc5z...umber=24607729

It would be the 5x8, since that is the biggest one that will fit on the type of hitch they have for an evo. The other ones wont fit a king bed

Well, I'm going to do it. Only option for me right now, and since the hitch is fully bolt on, just going to warranty any problems I'll let you all know how it turns out!
