NEED help removing 03 EVO headlights!!!!

ok im making this thread asking for help from shops and PEOPLE that own 03 Evos. AGAIN 03 evos not any other year. Now here is my problem. I was going to take off my headlights to get them blacked out some but mine dont seem to come off like i was told. NONE OF THE GUIDES SEEM TO COVER THIS AT ALL. i have two extra wires that run to my lights and i cant pull them off without cutting the wires or tracing them back. The lines run underneath my fender somewhere. now this extra light i have does not even operate its not my high beams yet its in there i cant pull the light out of the socket as its in the head light its self. can anybody give me some insight to what it is here pics. its like that on both sides passager as well

now there is bottom pics where the second black line runs to a plug above my hid kid All oem but i dont think these black wires are oem

wondering do all 03s have this if not can i cut these wires so i can remove my head lights i can always resplice them back together but i want to know what they are before i do such a thing. Again this is a 03 evo i dont want to hear on my 04,05,06 talk need not apply as they change the lights and wires. SO if you have a 03 post some pics or see if you have the same thing going on if not ill cut them so i can remove them.

ahhh...i havent looked at my evo for those wires but from just looking at your pics it looks like they are aftermarket.
seems like those lights ppl put in their headlights to have a low light effect when turned on.

in this picture you see the light im taking about in the highbeam to the left

well like i said you can see that mine doesnt have it

and here is that back

what i would do is just take the whole wire out, no reason to have wire that doesnt belong there. trace the wire to the source and take it out. you dont want problems down the line because you just cut and taped the wires off

It's after market. I bet there is a switch somewher in the interior that turns them on. Maybe under the dash or something.

LMAO, those are strobes in your housings. If there is no switch in your cabin that you are aware of, cut em and remove the strobes.

What a hack job with all the wiring everywhere.
