a long and risky drive ahead of me
well im back safe in ohio and the trip went perfect no problems at all from the evo
when i hit the dealership it went straight to service center and the used car mechanic with me along side and here's what happend
i found that the oil filter cap was the wrong size, there was no o-ring for the oil pan and a broken oil temp sensor
first thing was an free oil change. No metal shavings
(a lot off my mind)
figured out that metal shavings were normal (me being 17 and stupid0
a lose clamp around the left front axle (exactly what it was) which was cause a leak which was making that "clunking noise". It was tightened and no more clunking noise
Free tail lights that they ordered when were first they buying the car
and them saying there was nothing wrong with the clutch
so... someone is lying to me either it's goodyear saying about the shavings from the oil pan and a mitsu dealer ship and their list of repair parts or the car dealership. And all of them want money
so i decided to drive the evo less, do oil changes myself after the winter, and keep a closer eye on it.
oh and i've been getting hell from the mom ever since the start she hates mitsu
she was born in Maylasia and she always tells me "when i was growing up nobody wanted a Mitsu because they were crap(with a chinese accent to top it off)"
and anyone around Canton, Akron or Cleveland pm me please i would like your opinion when you drive my evo

its really good to know how to change ur own oil i have been for 8 years now since i was ur age on all my cars. i just can't take it to a mechanice for one cause its too easy not to just do it urself. but glad to hear it all was minor problems.
Thats classic. The evo is the most reliable car for me to date, even with all of the upgrades Thread
