Decisions Decisions...Walk or Drive in crappy weather??
noones driving it now, the insurance has been reduced to just fire, theft, etc.
I don't have much cash for a beater, if anything I rather spend it to pick up some rims for the evo in the summer.
snowmobile not a bad idea haha.
good point though revin9k about not having to worry about the car not having it here.

well the car's like my babby haha and i dont know if the cost (gas, parking when at school, increased insurance, removing springs and alignment) of bringing the evo here here is worth it, same percentage of me falling while walking is probably the same odds of some idiot hitting me while driving...the roads arent any better than the sidewalks in Grand Rapids, MI. It sucks, not to mention im not sure how much i trust the neighborhood am at with leaving my car out. if i had a garage, id definetely have the evo here but now i dunno..if i had more $ id just buy a beater..well see
if it gets too cold, drive it. but if you can stand it, i would be riding a bike to school. then again, i live in a pretty temperate climate so i don't know how viable that option is for you. good luck.
Sounds like you answered your own question. When I was in school (in Upstate, NY), I walked everywhere. Walked over a mile to take a shuttle to campus, walked an even longer distance every other day to work, walked to the supermarket, walked to meet dates at a local diner, walked, walked, walked. Sure, it would have been nicer to drive, especially in the midst of winter, but we all make our choices. I chose not to own a car and to allocate the funds toward other endeavors, like volunteering my time exploring the arts and having a nice place to live. You choose to keep the car safe due to the surrounding environment. We all have to deal with our own constraints and make decisions that are right for ourselves as individuals. It's a lifestyle choice, of sorts, and only you can decide whether it's worthwhile. FWIW, now, some 20+ years later, I'm still happy with the choices I made and suggest the same to my children. I hope you will be just as happy with the choice you're making. Good luck.
bike isnt a viable option, its cold and snow all over the place is not ideal bike conditions.
clean man, just go back home and drive it to school man...f*** walking man. i drove my evo to school every day in the winter for a week then went to the wash and wash the hell out of it. salt didn't hurt anything. trust me it was worth it. i wouldn't let it sit at home. when the spring came no damage to the cf hood, trunk, diffuser, lip and just bought snow tires and i was set. so its up to you if you wanna freeze everyday lol
