ANYONE KNOW HOW TO disassemble tail lights??

im trying to take the plastic cover off the tail light but not sure how .. it seems to be sealed real tight by glue... tried putting it in the oven 20mins ..... doesnt work....

anyone know how to take it off?????

Not to revive a dead thread.. but searching for disassembling tail lights, this is the only thread of 2 that came up. May do the same, does a heat gun work well for this? Since this guy tried to bake his, and didn't come out with cookies or success.

The tails are a lot harder to split apart then the headlights. Most dremmel them apart

heat gun and razor blade. I just did it and It was so easy honestly took ten minutes or so to seperate

Thats how I did mine too.
If I could do it again, I would use a dremel next time.
Actually dremel further into the tail light (about 2mm away form the clear front lense. That way you wont need to paint a strip around the front lense to hide the dremel marks.

its a pain in the *** i used a heat gun and it still cracked and i went slow as hell
