Just bought seat lowering brackets off ebay!

I just grabbed some seat lowering brackets off Ebay (good feedback), other than color they look identical to Binary brackets. They were darn cheap too, might even be a sale price ($130 shipped); the kit includes driver/passenger side brackets and hardware.

CLICK ME

UPDATE INSTALLED:

Ok so I finally got around to getting the brackets in. First impression of the brackets was outstanding, they feel much more solid than stock. They came with all the necessary hardware (except for tools of course). It took me a little less than 3 hours to completely uninstall stock brackets and install the new ones. Its safe to say that the difference is outstanding, I feel like I have much more control and a better sense of the car now, in every aspect. It took me an hour or so to get used to the difference in height, but now I can't seem myself any higher.

As for the ebay seller, he was top notch. Not only was the product solid, but it was shipped pretty quick!

I highly recommend these brackets, it's ridiculous what such a small mod can do for the over all feel of the car.

+1. Does it say how much lower it is than stock height, or am I just blind? Hell, with his description, I don't think I can live without them...

I asked the seller, it's ~1 1/2 inches. I just bought them today, once they arrive I'll try to get them in ASAP.

Hmmmm, I believe some one made a post promoting these before and it got locked.

For what it's worth, I would not trust a bracket that holds my seat from ebay. It is an obvious knock off of Binary, who put some R&D behind his product. /rant

I've seen these before, they're copies of the Binary brackets that are no longer available. I hope their quality is just as good as Binary's and they don't sheer off in an accident.

Nice I'm 5"11 as well, they feel great in my buddies evo. It's odd what a small difference in height can do for the overall feel of the car.

You've gotta be kidding. You bought a knock off for just about what the real deal is listed for on binaryeng.com. I was looking at them just today. To bad you didn't look around a bit more, you could've gotten a better product for just about the same price and helped fund one of the more contributing members of our site all at once. Nice work.
Edit: I just double checked, yup 79 bucks a side.

Yea I think that was the guy selling them, and the thread got deleted. I bought some when I saw the thread.

I have these exact brackets on my car. Love them.

It'a funny how fantastic your double check was!

"Complete Set EVO 7-9: original price $228 shipped." might wanna triple check next time, they are out of stock too.... Looks like it's only $79 on the few driver sides he has left. Funny thing is, he quoted me $114 for the driver side a week ago and I told him I would get the ebay ones
