where are you located? if your in the states there a couple of "legal" ways to import them, it is just a PITA. A couple of good loopholes most people dont know about as well. Are you buying it from within the US or have it strictly imported from another country? All of these questions could allow us to to better help you in your search.

Regardless gl with your hunt! PM me if you have any other questions that I might be able to help you out with.

Basically anywhere, but north america. Just go with a 8 or a 9. Too many improvements.

You're going to have to pay about twice the cost in import duties, let alone the cost to get it modified to comply with modern safety and emissions requirements. May as well forget about it unless you're absolutely loaded.

What makes you want a VII more than anything? Just asking because some people tend to see the VII as an outcast, same with the IV and how guys are treating the X now.

If I was in the US I wouldn't look Japan or UK for one, check other parts of Europe since they have LHD.

Is it easier to import LHD 7s then RHD? Easier to make road legal?

I was told by someone else that it doesn't matter if it is LHD or RHD they are more concern on emisions and safety standars

lol, who actually goes through the hassle of complying with the standards.

If you have friends, they will pass your inspection.
Insurance can be gotten on almost anything.
Registration.. well if you can get the car through the port, the rest is simple. Fill out a form for a title in like Florida, including reciepts and crap for everything, and you get it. You can get a title in FL for just about anything. Then transfer it over to whereever and enjoy.

Look on ebay. Seen a couple of VII's going for 16-23K before.
