I was just wondering if the evo 8 mesh on the evo 8 bumper would fit a evo 9 bumper? Who has done it?

 

Why would anyone do that? I'm sure it'll fit fine if you cut it to size.

 

Cause im doing a evo 9 bumper swap.

 

Why doesn't the IX bumper have the mesh with it?

 

I dont think the clips would be in the same place. Good luck getting it to fit right.

Go custom or no mesh.

Best bet would be to contact russellM and get the right parts.

 

The top of the bracket that holds the mesh on the 8 is smaller than the 9 so I dont think it will fit. I just did a chopped 8 bumper and tried to put my 9 grill in it and The metal bracket sticks out about an inch past where it should

 

Hahah cause i bought it off of this guy on the forums and i dont know what he did with the mesh.

 

nothing on the evo 8 mesh or housing for the mesh fit on the evo 9. I got a evo 9 bumper and swap everything from a 8 over and nothing fit at all. your going to have to settle with it or do some major modification. i'll take some pictures and show you

 

Alright cool. Thats what i try too. I tried putting the mesh on the 8 on the nine but it seems like its not shape like it. LOL!!
