Hitting 200,000 Miles?
the problems with some evo owner is that they are don't want put extra miles on their evo, they want to save to the next person.
Had to replace both front wheel bearings at around 120K due to noise.A/C comp was changed this summer, elec. comp clutch locked up. All drivetrain is stock.
Water pump changed every 60K with the timing belts. Clutch is the same as I got the car at 64K. But I think with the new Turbo going in I will probably change it when it starts to slip.
When I first got it, someone said the STi would be better for longevity...Now all he says is, "you still driving that thing"..

I'm at 119,540 miles right now. And I agree, maintenance is everything. I replaced the water pump at 70K along with the belts too. I'm about to replace them again. I made 350whp in 2006 and the car has never missed a beat. Replaced the OEM clutch with an ACT clutch in 2006 also. As the years go by, I have even more respect for the Evo... they're definitely very durable machines. Congrats again... keep it rolling.

EDIT: Ouch. Just saw your thread here. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...snapped-4.html Keep us posted.

I just hit 178,000...radiator fan/motor is making a bad rattle...at least that's what I think it is...the little fan in front of the radiator between the radiator and the front bumper?
