IMO there are not enough EVO's for most general mech. shops to be good with them. Thry probalby haven't work on many . Do not fault your EVO. Fault your shop. There are lots of people run crazy power and dont have problems. Just do some research and info your shop. If they think they know it all, find a shop that listens to you.

so the shifter bushings make that much of a diffrence? should i swap em out even if im not having a problem shifting now?

it sounds like its time for a little "unexplained" fire situation for your evo. This could help you fix all your problems. Insurance would pay your estimated value of the car.

Or you could pay time in County, when you get caught for insurance fraud.
