Can't afford my EVO right now, is it worth it to refinance?
I was in that same spot, sold my baby then went through H##l the next two weeks regreting what I had done. By the three week mark I had my baby back and learned my lesson. If you love your evo everything else will work itself out! Good luck with your decision!
haha, god damnit.....
call credit union and tell them the situation and maybe they will lower interest or extend the term to keep u as a customer. They wouldn't want you to go somewhere esle for the money or even repo it. trust me.
called them today, and they do not offer any sort of refinancing on loans (odd), however you can apply to miss up to two payments per year without any sort of penalty, as their incentive to continue business with them, you simply apply for it. So that's what I'm gonna do. It'll save me $900, and I'll at least keep the car for a few more months. My career path has changed so much in the past three months, so in three more months I feel I'll have a much better projection of my immediate future, so at that point I'll re-evaluate the situation. So for a few more months, I'm keeping her!
I hope it is not rude for me to ask, if you are struggling with your car payments why are you buying upgrades and tracking the car? Maybe you should trade some of your parts for cash in the time being.
Don't listen to some people that are telling you to sell your Evo. It might depend on where you live but when I got mine, it was 29K miles and I take out a loan for 72 months from 5th 3rd bank. Now, I refinance at my local credit union and got $100 off my monthly payment. I got into a side scrape of which it's not my fault. I fix it myself and use the difference to pay toward the principal. That helps
The only way I do track days or upgrades is by doing video work in exchange for goods & services, I don't spend money on ****, just my time and expertise. Viral Marketing is very popular right now.
