Tune on Tuesday
Alreay scheduled the tune for tomorrow. Too late to turn back now. LOL. Anyway, I took it up to the local gas station today, and it was idling so bad that I didn't even want to drive it. This tune is SO overdue.
Replaced the throttle body shaft seals yesterday and re-boost leak tested. No leaks anymore.

Wow is all I can say. First thing first. Chad is a freaking Evo Jedi. I know most of you already know this, but for everyone else, it's the truth. His knowledge and customer service is unsurpassed. If I had to grade my experience when I was there, it would be solid A's across the board.
So, here's the story. Going off of what I've already posted, he rolls the car in and goes over the game plan with me. Last week when I was there picking up the throttle body shaft seals, we talked about putting in a Hallman to up the boost a bit. They installed the MBC and were going to throw in a Walbro as well. Come to find out, it has a Walbro in it already. Chad also informs me that it definetly has cams in it also. (So much for that stock Evo that I bought...)
Chad gets it on the dyno and looks at the map that it had on the ECU. He said it's been tuned before, as the fuel trim and timing map are all advanced. He does his thing, all the while I'm snapping pictures. I was surprised with the amount of time he spent on the car, tuning and doing pulls. I didn't think for a second that the job was done in a rush, or half-assed. I was extremely pleased with CBRD, and the car idles like a champ and pulls WAY nicer than before.
So, without further ado, I give you some pics and the dyno sheet.
Chad working his magic.

Thanks CBRD! You guys freaking rock!

Not sure, as this was my first tune on the car.
Already ahead of you Dave. Figured I knock out a few birds with one stone while I'm at it. I ordered a valve cover gasket set to pull the VC, get it powder coated, change the gaskets, and hopefully get a serial number off the cams. I'll post some pics, maybe I can get some help with identification.
