how old are you? that has a lot to do with the pricing. I'd say shop around and get quotes from everyone.

The older I got the cheaper the insurance got. Also having a clean record helps even more regardless of age, IMO. Any moving violation or claim is worse when you're younger, like exponentially worse. I know these cars are fun, but it's up to you to not be a bonehead on the street and getting caught.

I'm 31, clean record with a small claim within the past 2 years, $500 deductible with all the bells and whistles through Progressive, around $75 a month.

Insurance rates vary from state to state, yes your record has a lot to do with it but also it is predominently higher for people in the tri state area on the east coast......sad but true

Yep, even living in the Twin Cities is cheap compared to the coasts, and even cheaper if I lived in rural Minnesota.

Buy a beater and put your evo as your second ride. The cost savings will more than pay for the beater in the long run then its just money in your pocket.

I am 24 w/ progressive. I pay 200 a month for full coverage on my truck and evo 8. no tickets within 3 years. I believe progressive does not calculate premiums by age. I think its driving record and credit score. every six months they reevaluate.

I just saw in your other thread you are deaf. Do you think that would have any bearing on your rates? I understand it probably shouldn't but, if they can charge people more just for being young I don't see why they couldn't for not being able to hear.
