Carbon Hood and Trunk
Seibon from CVR is the way to go. The only bad thing about any Carbon Fiber is they don't use automotive clear and that's why they fade so easy. With Seibon you need to rattle can the silver mesh.

my cf is painted as well but still does not excuse the fact of junk products from seibon unless made on monday or some touch up work is done as soon as it comes out the box assuming it does not come pre-yellow
I don't know what your talking about. I got the hood, trunk and DL lip from Seibon and no problems at all.
I've seen their products on a few cars and liked their work. A little too pricey for my taste, but if you're willing to pony up the dough, I don't think you can go wrong!
. lol 425 for a hood if thats pricey you should not owe a evo period thats nothing when clutches cost 1700-4000 and new turbos are 1600-4000 and to top it off some cf hoods are actually 1000+ lol get used to 500 dollar prices for many parts of the evo you have to pay to play.
lol expensive are you serious

That's why I'm considering parting my project instead of completing it.

i've got seibon carbon trunk on my daily. its painted white though so yellowing isnt a factor. the fit isn't that great though. ive also got seibon carbon widebody fenders which fit pretty decent. also have a dry carbon one-off custom hood. its identical to the stock hood but 15lbs lighter and doesn't have any rigitity to it at all. the thing flexs like crazy, and doesn't use the hinges (it has to be quarter turn fastened down). its obviously for a race car only.
got to agree seibon is the way to go. got my hood from them and fit is awsome. ad still looks great after 2 1/2 years. my brother got a truk from somewere else and it is **** so i stick with seibon
