Carbon Hood and Trunk

Anyone buy a great carbon hood and trunk? I need a new carbon hood and trunk and I was wondering if you were pleased with the product. Was also interested in who you bought it from. I don't need dry carbon high dollar stuff, just plain stock looking evo hood and trunklid.
Thanks
Ron

We use and sell the Seibon stuff with good results. We even have their dry carbon parts on our Race car. The hood and trunk fit pretty well as far as carbon fit goes.

I dont have many pics but you can find some of the dry hood and trunk installed here. They are the same fit for both dry and normal style.

I hear alot of people complain about seibon parts, but I have no issues with it. I have used seibon on my past vehicles and never had any issues. Anything carbon fiber I end up getting extra coats of clear coat just to be safe. You might check out www.hopupracing.com
They are a good company and sell products at great prices. I hope that helps you out buddy. Oh and all of hopup's products have free shipping. I love it.

CVR they are a Vendor here. I'm on the east coast too so I don't know if that helped the price at all. I know it was at my house in a few days though

disagree all you want will not change the fact company is crap. Majority of folks on here will agree with my assessment of them. Its not just me and i have a crap hood to prove it. so im glad yours was ok but they are extremely hit or miss company and not worth it to chance for anybody and if anybody ask I will not recommend them. CVR is the one that sells seibon hoods for 425 shipped for the person that asked.

Hmmm I made my decision based on the forum feedback and real life cars I have seen with these hoods on.

I'm sorry yours didn't work out. Mines been perfect for 2 years now no yellowing oh and my car isn't even garaged, the hoods exposed to all elements 24/7 365 . Guess I got lucky. It's about time

Hell even if I have to reclear it down the road. I can deal with that.
