OEM finish on BBS MR wheels?

Based on what Ive read, thats generally just a myth though about forged aluminum being weakened by powdercoat baking. Baking is done around 350-375ish degrees, those temperatures are not high enough to change the metallurgy of the wheel.
Something like 500 degrees is a different story, but thats not the kind of temps powder coated parts see while baking.

im still guessing paint

Yea, I wouldn't count out powder coat however I doubt the BBS use powder coat.
There are some manufacturers that use a powder coat base, and a paint clear.
These include BMW, Mercedes, etc.
