I need a new front passenger side door on my Evo. I have been looking around for some but coming up with no results. I saw a few lancers and noticed the front doors are as close as you can come to being a perfect fit. Anybody know If it will fit?

 

front doors I'm pretty sure are exact rear doors are completely different

 

So your almost positive I can use a regular lancer front door and it will fit?????

 

on mitsubishiparts.net they came up different prices but they use the same picture...that site doesn't list mitsu part numbers though

if it helps - i ordered side window deflectors for my 2005 evo8, which were actually for a 2003 Lancer OZ and they fit perfectly

we have a winner and my thought was accurate woohoo

 

Those numbers are for an early model VIII (03-04) and a Later Model Lancer (04+)

Im not sure what would even be different between them. Material? Cant say Im an expert on doors.

 

the base lancer doors front pass and driver sides will fit 03-06 evo 8/9 they the same door basicly

 

they will work that's all I know haha

 

I believe later models (03) have steel crash beams while newer models (04 & up) have aluminum.....I think.

All I know is my 03 doors are a lot heavier than new models.

 

i think the rear is different, cuse of the wider fender. I'm not 100% sure.

however, the fronts are not (minus lighter crash beams)

yes a hear the front ones will fit, there are guys parting out evos on here with doors when i was looking for parts

 

I wonder if it is possible to swap out the steel crash beams with the aluminum ones????
