Prosport Oil Temp Gauge !!Need Help!!

when i turn on the car and wait for it to warm up out of no where the oil gauge started to jump like crazy. from 100 it jump to 220 then fall down to 140, when driving and stop a red light it stay at 140 but when start moving it just start to jump and fall like crazy. Anyone no what might trigger this and any advice to fixing it? I think that it might be an electrical problem but no sure. Its dark out so ill check it out tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance guys

Either the gauge itself is bad or there is a short. Those are the only two possibilities. I have all Pro sport gauges and have not had this problem.

Check all the wiring connections and the sensor. Other then that prosports customer service is 2nd to none. They have been really helpful in speaking and sending out parts to me in the UK

check your wire where it connects to the pressure sender sometimes it gets corroded and throws weird signals

I had this EXACT problem. I dont mean to badmouth Prosport, but these gauges are made in Taiwan, and are very inexpensive. You know what they say...you get what you pay for. I had to buy a new gauge.

Soooo many people have had problems but then, whenever asked, the people who have had great experiences with them chime in to back up their profile. I'd get them but they don't make a speedo...cuhraaaaap. Million dollar nexus setup here i come!
