Engine light stuck on
Engine light stuck on
Hmm..ok so i never had this problem BUT i was in research of an exhaust system and people were telling me to get a cat back and some were telling me to get the turbo back....after doing some research i ended up getting a bushur 3" turbo back exhaust. People were always telling me before i bought the exhaust that when you get a turboback your check engine light will come on BUT you can fix this problem with a reflash..is this correct?
When i bought my TB exhaust i got it installed and did not witness this problem for 3 weeks then all of a suddenly my check engine light was on and stayed on.
I do have a turboback and the injen intake system.....with no reflash. But people are telling me that it does not matter..well i did a little digging and found out that it DOES matter. Will it make a big diffrence anyway.
I guess my question is if i did a reflash will my Check engine light turn off. Thanks

Just like any car with OBD. Pull the code. Find out what the code says. If it is a P0420 which is the code you will get if your running no cat there are a couple ways to fix it.
Yes the code can be disabled in the ECU. But 2 spark plug O2 foulers to get that rear O2 sensor out of the exhaust stream work just fine
Read Up man nothing new here

the cel is most likely from your exhaust...you need a cel fix
the cel isn't hurting your car at all...and if you notice any physical differences the cel might be for something else and you should get it checked out
a tuner can delete current cel's with a reflash but it can come back again
search cel fix and go have the code pulled

Install on rear 02. Cheers.
edit: I did mine the DIY way and made mine such as in the How-To section. Either way will work, this is just more bling and requires no drilling.

Get a mechanical CEL fix for your rear o2 sensor and you'll be good to go.
Also, I would highly recommend getting a tune asap, esp if your running a TBE and an intake. Trust me you'll be happy you did.
