Similar problem. Assist if you can

My Evo 8 just started to leak oil. I haven't had a chance to look up under it yet, but will in a few days . ( garaged at moment due to leak ). The valve cover, and timing cover and the surrounding areas are oil free. However it seems to spray up onto my intake manifold from underneath, and onto my firewall when the motor is rev'd. I parked it for a week before going on vacation and there is a oil stain on the passenger side of the oil pan, and a puddle from the oil. I plan to look at it tonight and over the weekend, but any advice will be appreciated.

Clean up all of the oil, put in some engine oil dye, and start the motor. Use a UV light to see where the dye shows up.

Thanks for the suggestions! The picture I took didn't do any justice and would have been a waste of time, as I couldn't disassemble much at all the last few weeks to get informative shots. Good news is that I found out where the leak was coming from, a small crack in the valve cover just above the new gasket, so I had it welded and taken care of at a shop.
