For one, there's already a thread on this.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ents-evos.html

Second, if your car is smelling like gas, you need to fix something. Either that, or get rid of the o2 dump or exhaust turn-down. Whatever it is, a car shouldn't smell like gas.

Do you have a test pipe? Or a cat?

Assuming you're smart enough to have a properly installed proper baby seat. That's the only thing that I'd avoid, aside from highly aggressive driving (but that's a given too).

If it is extremely loud that may not be the best choice either...

When my children where born, they were driven around in a 20 year old GTI that made the Evo seem like a luxury car with an exhaust to match. We'd strap the kids in the back and go corner hopping. Babies are much more resilient than their parents.

Very well said. Babies hearing isn't as sensitive as adults, and hey maybe the drone of the exhaust may help them sleep. With respect to the smell in the car if you're running a test pipe or a cut out or whatever that's allowing the exhaust fumes back into the car then u might want to address that. otherwise you're good to go.

Get a good car seat and sort out any exhaust issues and you'll be fine

My daughter was brought home in my Evo. At the time I had a HFC. She is now almost four and loves the "Evo car"

Every time I put my newborn on my old evo 8 she went right to bed. The load exhaust drone, bumpy suspension put her right to bed. I wouldn't recommend any spirited driving with a baby, that goes in any car.

I had my son in modified Honda's for his entire life. Hybrid civic and Integra Type R. he was fine. I would sometimes drive him around in the car to put him to sleep.
