dont quote me as i havent investigated the washer line but i think it goes through a fender opening. someone could have certainely ran a water line through it but as i said clearly... most evos have a rubber stopper there so by design, this hole is NOT for washer line.... (unless we're talking about two different things altogether).

until you find the hole from the engine bay side to truely understand if the holes being used, i think your wasting your time.

if you lived near rahway and came by i'd show you in 2 seconds where the hole im referring to is.

Quote: yeah there is a grommet under the front strut bar (passenger side) that opens right behind the glovebox. maybe water followed power or vacuum lines and dripped inside
Win. that was it the grommet was popping out a little so it looked normal but when i splashed water on it it came in. so i cleaned it up best i could and used multi purpose silicon sealant. Just a tip use a caulk gun or a paint mixing stick to get it on there from the exterior of the car... big hands+small jap car = very mad person.
There is also one on the fender side of the interior that has a few wires coming into the car... looks like it could be a possibility for some of you guys that may get a leak as when the water drains from the area where the windshield washer motor is it goes right into the fender area and runs on those wires.
anyway guys thanx for the info on where the grommet was.
