My Evo is costing $29,100 at Huntington Beach Mitsu (So. California). Invoice was $28,900.... This is with a sunroof & CF Wing and they have many on the lot to choose from.

You might have seen the 2004 Lancer Ralliart. It has a 2.4L SOHC I4 with MIVEC making 160 hp. It has 205/50R16 tires with 5-spoke alloys. It's supposed to arrive at dealers this fall.

Prosailortim: How much do you pay after all the taxes, doc fee, registration & license fee, etc.?

I did a little calc based on 8.25% sales tax and ridiculous reg fee in California. U think $30k OTD is reasonable or am i crazy?

INVOICE
$26,891 - base
$595 - destination
$522 - spoiler
$653 - sunroof
$28,661 - subtotal

$2,365 - tax
$700 - registration & license
$31,726 - total

I did not get a very close look. From a parking lot distance, it looked like a truck load of Lancers with the large spoiler and thin spoke style rims. Closest comparison of the rims would be to the Eclipse. I'll be going by the dealer within the next few days, I'll try to take pics.

Sorry, for going off topic...

The MSRP prices of the Evo are as follows:

Low spoiler w/o sunroof: $29,582
Low spoiler w/ sunroof: $30,332
High spoiler w/o sunroof: $30,062
High spoiler w/ sunroof: $30,812

that is right outa the evo faq on the home page
MSRP = Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price

invoice = the price the dealer pays for the car, excluding kickbacks, incentives, etc.

Fireball wrote that prices went up a bit recently, and I can't find the threads that contained the invoice info. So, does anyone know what dealers pay for the various packages?

Just purchased my Evo (11-7-03) with sunroof & CF wing for $29,142 plus tax license at Huntington Beach Mitsubishi. Go and Meet with the owner Tom and tak a test drive in his Evo. Josh in the service Dept use to work for RMR in Huntington Beach.

Had a great buying experience, maybe cause I'm older (43), and I put $20,000 down on the car...LOL. They also gave me 4.04% financing (that's what they buy their paper for) better than my credit union.

I highly recomend this dealership. They had blue, black, and sliver on the lot. I wanted white.... they went to Carlsbad to get one for me.

Next stop is RMR for some Horse Power upgrades

PROSAILER!!!! I just talk to Tom a few minutes ago... I was looking for a white one. He said he just sold one yesterday. Apparently that was your EVO. He sounds very accomodating.

On 11/8/03 the sister dealership of the dealership I bought mine at called me, and asked if I was still interested in buying an EVO (long story that you don't wanna hear lead to this situation).

The (original) sales guy stated they had 5 EVO's on the lot and may be willing to deal.

This dealership is Max Madsen Mitsu in Aurora, IL.

FYI this particalar store (Aurora) did jack me around during the summer, thats why I went to Downers Grove for the actual purchase (at sticker). But, the service dept. at Aurora has been fine.

Maybe with the winter coming and the clutch issue, Mitsu may not be as cocky as they were earlier in the year.
