Yah dont' think i didn't think about that. That is how I damaged my first one.. The sticker separated.. So didn't want to risk it.

^lol - ok. I'd use a little heat, maybe. Of course, that could cause the resin to separate as well I suppose. I don't know, my sticker came up fine. Just use a good tool to get under both pieces and separate from the metal.

^I'm not sure I'm reading your post in the correct context. This is the shift knob I had in my car for a while - it is a gunmetal Blox 490:

It looks pretty good to me. I got a Blox 490LE in platinum gunmetal since then that looks good too.

Thanks .. I am replacing my OEM knob with another OEM knob.. I will see if I can get under the sticker again I tried using a razor blade and a tooth scraper thing neither worked. I also may put a nut on the shift threading that way I can adjust and screw the knob down and just have it the wa I want. IDK bit much work just to have the knob facing the correct way.

If you damage the sticker, can you buy just that, or do you have to get the whole thing?

I got mine off by wraping a towel around it and putting channel locks around the towel...came right off by turning it counterclowise without any damage at all

I got mine to line up by putting a small washer inside the shift knob...depending on how bad its off you might need to use a couple washers. The have to be small enough to fit into the hole without touching the threads

^ You could check out our M1 Abrams RL shift knob that will fit the Evo MR and sit lower to match the RL lever. It's a shift knob specially engineered for cars with a reverse lockout mechanism:

M1 Abrams RL shift Knob

Thanks,

The Abrams looks like it has a nice bit of weight. I'm just not a fan of metal shift knobs and extremely cold/hot days.

To be 100% honest I drive with one all year around and I never find it unbearable. I'm not going to deny the fact that it gets a bit warm in the summer and somewhat chilly in the winter, but it nothing that the A/C/heat for 5 min can't fix

That being said, if you really don't want to go with a solid stainless steel shift knob, we will be releasing some leather wrapped versions sometime this summer...keep an eye out for those

Thanks Everyone... Good dialog. I am going to have to try a few different things. Nothing is working as of yet. I keep seeing the question asked but not sure if anyone knows or not. Can you replace the sticker? Anyone know where to buy another one?
