If the previous owner is correct the current map (A/F, timing, etc) will be way off for your car.
It may be dumping a lot of fuel at low rpm causing the engine to stall out...

That could be one of many scenerios...Drop it off at a good shop and give them as much info as you can. Good luck.

Yes, it is the tune. Bring it to your local tuner and they should be able to fix everything. It would be wise to do a boost leak test before the tune as well.

If it has the stock turbo on it (stock injectors?) - I would download a stock ROM for your car. This way you would be able to drive it. Do you have a Tactrix cable that you can use (or access to borrow one)?

Here's the link to the ROM's

Get it flashed back to stock as others have said. Then take it from there. I'm in NNJ if you need it flashed LMK

Check to see if you have any boost leaks also.

what he said. always a good idea to make a boost leak tester before you head out for a tune.

even if you dont get to test for a boost leak, take it to ivey....sean will be able to sort out the minor issues and get it tuned properly. I had a similar issue with mine, went up there and they realized i had a major boost leak, car went from dynoing at 240 to 310 at the wheels after fixing it.
