My clutch shudders only in reverse. Im at 52K on mine, does anybody think thats a sign that it needs to be replaced? I plan on replacing it at 60k anyway, just wondering if i should do it sooner.

As far as the chatter/shuddering goes. I've been told by several clutch company's that what you would describe as a shudder is what they call chatter. They use other terms for clutch noises. So I believe he's using the correct terminology.

Sorry I can't help with the down shifting question. I would just call act, actually I think their site has a live support you might try too. If you find out post back here.

You use your brakes to stop the car, never use your engine/ tranny.

And when you are slowing down, rev match.

Don't know what that is? Google it, your transmission will thank you.

To the OP, it's normal, try to follow the break in procedure and see if that helps.
