thats funny....my dad doesnt like the evo or the lancer....and he drives a minivan too....and a taurus..........he calls the evo a family car

If you were talking about me I was just baggin on most camaro's and mustangs. Everyone thinks because they have a mean sounding car that it is fast and everyone either has a Camaro or Mustang with exhaust and usually that is about it. I owned a SS-Z28 and sold it for an EVO and it was probably one of the best decisions I could of made.

 

ya,,,i used to like the stang alot...but then i moved to this ****ty town and everyone owns one....were in a town of 2,800 and theres probably 50 stangs....thats when i started likin the evo

 

The Evo is a crappy family car. 4 doors and a back seat do not make a good family car. Fast performance numbers do not make a good family car.

The letter basically states the reason I bought my EVO.

I like it because most people don't have a clue about what it is.

It's funny to hear people trash talk it. It's nice to know I can smoke 'em.

I'm glad people underestimate my car. I'm glad people don't take it seriously. That just means the ignorant people will leave me the hell alone.

When I get married, I'll get to keep the car because the wife won't be able to complain that the car is impractical.

If I have three kids, there's room for them in the back.

If it snows, I can drive my high-performance car in the snow with no worries.

This is a car that lets me have my cake and eat it too.

some people like having a car with electrical this and that, where the ecu does everything to keep the car staight but give ********.

put some of these people in a car without all that high tech electrical garbage (ex.evo) and it will show him that he has no clue about keeping a car in control.

when i had my gti, i was constantly being reved at by other cars, stangs, camaro, bmw, ect. but know for some odd reason ( ) they pull up and just stare,in amasment.

if the evo is ugly than the mustang should be outlawed!

I love the look of my Evo and to call it ugly I dont know where they get that. I mean have they not seen the Sti I would think they would be talking about it not the Evo. I guess knowing it comes with 300hp over the Evo's 271 makes it better looking???

cabo, you said it right man, thats what im talking about... i got my Evo a few months ago and then two weeks ago my dad got an Evo. And I HATE people who talk **** about the interior because in my opinion, it is the BEST interior there is... comfortbale, functional, no damn distractions!! this forum is full of people that think just like me, i love it!

 

The EVO is a perfect family car. Do you have kids? If you did, you would like the EVO as a family car.

I love the EVO as a family car. When I need to haul the whole crew, I can. When I am on my own and can play--it does! I only wish it came as a wagon, then it would be my sports car, family car and home depot run car!

Just because I have kids doesn't mean I don't like a sports car. If I can combine both--great!

 

People that disrespect the Evo need to drive one for a week. When i take people for a drive they can't believe how well it performs. Four cylinders and it's a Lancer makes them believe that it is equivalent to a riced up Honda. Guy at work was thinking about buying a 350 z and test drove one. Saw my new Evo and when i told him that it performed really well he still didn't have a clue. I let him drive it and he couldn't believe that the Evo felt stronger than the 350z he drove. His opinion of my Evo changed real fast. Told people at work that were dissing my car that it is a fast *** car and telling them to go for a drive with me and they'll be impressed . Also get the ***- hole telling me for 30gs i could of gotton this or that Luxery Bling Bling. The majority of people buy cars for image and luxery.Some Guys think that a car is supposed to be a chick magnet. Hell i can't afford one chick why do i need a car to attract more. OUT!
