Official What Broke Today thread

So we have spotted threads, what i got in the mail threads. With upgraded power we tend to stress the tolerances of other standard parts. I know most of you have had something to replace thoughout the time you have owned your Evo so post it up.

I just recently had the passenger side CV axle fail on me. Hopefully it's a simple rebuild. Just under 60k.

Let's hear what you guys had to replace or repair.

I had the uicp pop off of the throttle body today when I was on my way to work. It scared me to death at first cuz I thought I blew the motor, but luckily I was able to stick the hose back on and baby it the rest of the way to work. It was also a cheap and easy fix. In fact, when I say cheap I mean free because I found a t-bolt clamp laying around at work that I was able to use to fix it I love my job!!! The real irony to the story was that I just got my Tactrix cable yesterday and I went out this morning and did my first loggings with Evoscan. The logs looked really good as far as I could tell so I was feeling pretty good about the way the car was running finally.

Owned my used evo for about 3 weeks before the clutch was so ruined it wouldnt move an inch. I think my E-brake is about to take a dump now, takes like 10 clicks. Door actuator went out drivers side..nothing too bad so far *knock on wood*. Had the car just over a year now and pushin 58k miles

My Evo is very mildly modded and I don't abuse the machine. Nothing ever breaks. It's the most reliable car I've owned.
