That's exactly what I did lol , I bought a pipe hanger from Lowes and used that

 

That's because I didnt post those pictures.

 

So today, I decided to go to home depot and buy a strip of aluminum. They sell 4'x1"x1/4" strips of aluminum for about $5. I bought one and just bent it in the shape I needed and cut it down to size. It took about 30-45 mins to do and only cost $5. I think I'm gonna remove it and paint it black next weekend. Here are some pics of how it looks:

i have a cobb bracket on mine....no pics at the moment. its basically what all the other pics are.

 

my perrin filter fits like crap with the stock intake pipe. mine rubs against the acd reservoir and battery and im worried its going to rub a hole through the filter. does any one have any suggestions? i dont really want to waste $175 on the perrin intake pipe just to find out it doesnt fit any better

I had this exact problem with the AEM intake which is why I opted to go back to the stock pipe and new filter. Maybe you should try swapping out the filter with a different one and see if that makes a difference.
