^^Thanks, I plan to build it as a track car now and then send in a racing exemption application to the EPA. The NHTSA portion of the racing vehicle exemption is covered becuase, I have a manufacturer documents stating that year RS model was built for motorsports. I will make a thread once I start my track car build, unfortunately it is on a very limited budget. I will also post when I send in my EPA race exemption application and the results.

There is a temporary and perminent racing exemption. With a temp exemption you do have to deport or destroy the car. I'm working on getting a perminent exemption.

i've tried to find info on shipping into mexico but to my understanding of it, its harder then the states... also with canada car has to be 15 years or older to be shipped it, evo 4's will be available next year

btw, i thought i has read that for the race exemption, so long as the veh was in a race configuration it was still eligible, so meaning a cages, gutted evo VI GSR would work, and if the RS shows its built for race from the factory, then that should be its eligibility right there? i've gotta look into it again cause im probably wrong, but i could have sworn i read that somewhere
