80w nokya hyper yellow 2500k h11 headlight fog bulbs
Are the 80Wattage safe to run without melting anything? Wasn't sure if I'll be on the safe side or not. Found some 80W for cheap under $20. Some reason the 55W were $7-10 more than the 80W
Thanks.
Thanks.
you can run them but the wires will get hot, it all depends on the gauge wire that you are using. The bulbs will not be as bright if the correct wire is not used also. You will need to upgrade the fuse also or you will be blowing them often.
i would not run more then the bulb its replacing, which should be 45-55w. my nokya yellows lasted a month before one went out. looks great just unreliable IMO. Now i have a 2500k hid kit, working great for almost 2 years now.

I've been running my Nokya's for 7 months now, nothing blown, I didn't even realize they were 80w...
If something happens to them I'll replace them and hardwire them. They're alot cheaper than HID's, and I don't need such a bright fog...

A little food for thought... I run these 35w as my Wife's low beams in her Legacy GT: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
For $50 shipped, it's really hard to beat.
I know it's not what you asked, but some 3000k are going in my own Evo's fog location. The freakin ballasts are half the size of my palm. If it were not for the fact that they were so damn cheap, I would run just bulbs.
