This car is done very nice in my opinion. I think these vinyl wraps get a bad reputation from people that do not know how to install the wrap correctly.

its a good idea. but why not just paint it and have it last a lot longer? i don't really see the point of spending all that money when it can just pull right off or will need to be pulled of after like 18 months like someone said.

Just an FYI, when u paint ur car satin or flat black, the smallest rub or abrasion will almost polish the said area and will allow it to not look uniform with the rest of the paint.

Does vinyl leave sticky residue once you remove it?

Sometimes. Something like this will take it right off though.

Yup. I have been contemplating doing this by years end and was talking to several high end body shops in the area and this is the verdict I got from all of them. GL.

That is one reason that kept me from doing it a few years back. Now PPG has a satin clear coat, so you dont have to worry about that anymore. I havent looked into it though.

3M Di-Noc available here, I think 2 rolls of 4'x20' would be enough to do an EVO?

I seen a STI at an AutoX event a few weeks ago, I had no idea it was wrap until the guy told me. I'd consider it if I had money to waste.

I actually like it. I saw a lexus 250 with vinyl wrap. It looks awesome in person.
