I believe the engine did run low on oil but i cant confirm that. The turbo is leaking because it's not coming from the return line. I replaced everything

I feel sorry for the quality of your so-called "friends".

Rule #1 should be never let someone you don't trust touch your car.

Glad go see you're stepping in to help. Good luck with the project. It's always possible to build it better and stronger, and although I wouldn't volunteer to be in your shoes, I think the opportunity to make it right could be fun..... if you have the cash.

Had to replace a bunch of his HKS parts(Intake & BOV. Didn't remove cams) and can't wait to get the HKS intake off.

Oh also I dont know if I mentioned but the manifold wasn't even completely secured. This ghetto boost controller hose was just sitting in the engine bay. Hmm but it still read boost. It still has both solenoids hooked up. (Stock and aftermarket) ...sigh....what else....damn

They put on some "bolts" on the exhaust/turbo housing. The 2 in the rear were a mix match pair. They were different from both of the suds in the front.

IDK why but they were attempting to drill out the other side of the turbo housing too

Before you condem the motor do a compression test. Can you be more specific with the spitting thing? like where it is spitting out from. Also when you first start the car up you can grab each runner of the exhaust manifold to feel if its running on all 4 cylinders. What have you replaced so far? I work on several local evo's as well so you can pm me if you need any other tips.

It has to be spitting from the turbo. You cant see EXACTLY because it is limited in view. Dead smack in the middle of the turbo, under side/near housing. I can't give an accurate description because I cant see it right off the back. The oil spit on my mirror when it was between the turbo and radiator.

We are not condeming the motor right off the back, he already had the plan to do a 2.3 stroker in his car so regardless if this would have happened or not, he would be building the motor.

All the pictures of the radiator and a/c condensor came from oil spitting over and over. Oil lines have been checked and replaced with new ones and still has the issue. That also includes gaskets
