Hey guys I've had my Evo IX MR for about a year now and I've been wanting to gets some basic bolt on mods for it and dont know what to get...The only thing I've done to it is a put a TSUDO catback exhaust from an 03' Evo (bad move) it didnt fit exactly right becuz it leaned towards the left and burnt the inside of my bumper but it still works. I'm really interested in the ETS TBE becuz it sounds great and also it can be fitted to a EURO rear bumper which i really want to get. But then i heard the BUSCHUR exhaust and i like the sound of that one too...Also intakes....i read that a cone filter is a great replacement for the stock intake box vs a short ram or a cold air, is that true? Can someone help a guy out pls?!

 

For an intake, the best one for you in CA is the AEM (its CARB exempt). It looks like you've already answered your own question about exhaust. Everyone from here on out is going to be brand loyal

 

what mods do u have on your IX if any?

 

upper and lower intercooler pipes fuel pump mbc to get started i made 280 like that.

then get a qtp cutout i got the titanium greddy exhaust hate it because of the laws in va so i would go back and do the cut out

also u will be maxing the injectors in the 23 psi range get some larger ones 800-1000s

i did that and turned the bost more now making 357 and 389 tq 25psi

now ull need a clutch mine is on its way out shortly after fresh tune
