I got my golden ticket!

Apparently forum wars is gearing up for a new season, and after much heat from me, among others, they are trying to do a better job of selecting forum members to represent. For those who haven't seen this, the original production featured a couple of morons who could barely drive their own cars. The caught a lot of hell behind this, so they are reaching out to more forum members to do a better job this time. They sent me an email on facebook to apply for the next season. Hopefully i'll get picked to show what an 06 EVO IX MR with 155k+ miles can do lol My episode would be the senior citizen showdown i guess lol.

No offense ODUB, but Forum Wars should contact the Admins here. We should also be able to recommend who we send as a forum (Evolutionary, Nils, Gates311, etc - our national players in racing).

Reopened. Opinions stand.

Forum Wars should make a thread on EvoM. Then everyone get to choose who to pick. Hopefully there will be 2 part first would be with the evo ix and 2nd with the evo x.

This.

No offense to the OP...but the listed drivers have a proven history and would represent the forum extremely well.

probably should let the forum members select the drivers since what they are doing is basically like asking any average joe run in whatever races they are doing

I'll have a thread up soon about this but I will be helping Royal Purple to ensure whomever gets picked represents the forum. The choice won't be approved unless it goes through the mods here and on to me.

Whats makes you guys think a pro drivers, albeit forum members, are willing to put their cars up a some forum bs? Also, Evom doesn't take responsibility for anything, so why should the mods get to make decisions on who goes?

this.

if evom were to pay or sponsor in some way then i could see smike's opinion being valid. otherwise this is just some more forum bs as was stated before and there really should be no mind paid.

Because the person is representing the forum hence the forum wars title.
In essence the forum is a branded name and they should be consulted on choice.
Don't you think it would be a little ****ed up if I go to the track and say I represent AMS or GST then get my *** spanked making the companies look bad.

Edit;

Also to clarify something the community will get to choose who goes its just going to be run throught the admins to ensure their forum name will be well represented.

I also think they are trying to get to the members that don't do racing full time. Not that I agree with the representation of this community but we can't blame anyone else other than ourselves for not volunteering.

No one had a chance to volunteer last time, the producer had someone track down an Evo at the last minute.
