Personally if you are going to pay to get injectors you should atleast get FIC 1450s. They are great for daily driving and give you plenty of room to grow. The last thing you want to do is get 1000cc injectors then a year down the road you get a larger turbo and need more. I made that mistake and I wish I went straight to 1450s... jmo

I'm running 1000s on the IX turbo and E85. Not much room left though. They are perfect for my goals, but maybe not yours.

well my goal was 400whp, I got to my goal. Now im trying to figure out the best way to get closer to 500whp. My thoughts consist of E 85, bigger injectors, get an fp red or black etc etc

As far as fuel goes, you'll need injectors that can flow 1300cc or higher and a fuel pump and that can deliver enough fuel and pressure to keep up with them.

A single Walbro will flow a little over 4200cc of fuel at 3 bar. ...but if you're fuel pressure is increasing with boost it drops down to around 3600cc at 4 bar. To keep up with your injectors at full tilt (1300 x 4 = 5200cc) you will need a couple of pumps.

For an FP Black, you're going to need at least 1200cc and a double pumper to run E85. My buddy has that exact setup, made alittle over 500hp on the Krazy House Customs Mustang dyno, and ran 10.57 at the drag event he went to. That was the only run he got in before getting kicked!

I hate that...but kind of understand. Cars built today are a little more sturdy than rigs of yesteryear. Sucks he needs a cage to terrorize the strip again...or at least, longer than one run. lol

Not true.

a properly supported single walbro can support up to 480whp

A Walbro 255 at 3 bar will put out about 4200cc/min. As the pressure goes up, it's volume goes down. At 4 bar it will only push about 3600cc/min. That's barely enough for a 800cc injector!

Im on a IX turbo and 1000c Injector on E85 at 400whp with lots of room left still.

Minimum for e85 safely is 1000cc imo. That way you do have room to play with. And it keeps your IDC's low.
