Smallest size injector for e 85

is anyone running 1000cc injectors on e 85, ive heard 1200 is as small as you should go, keeping in mind winter, and other factors.

also is anyone running a single walbro for e 85, ive also heard you need 2.

imputs always appreciated, thanks-

It depends on what your hp goals are. A 1000cc pushing E85 should get you pretty close to 400hp. You will run out of pump on a Walbro 255 before you use all of the 1000cc injectors, though.

You know what I think you should do =) - Retune for e85 and see where the pump limits you.

1000cc's are fine with a single 255lph depending on the turbo your running... You can always go to a double pumper if need be, that will bring the IDC's back in check.

To give you an idea, roughly 1050cc on a IX turbo will suffice. A few have pointed out 5-550awhp is the limit of a single Walbro on a Dynojet.

1000cc with a single walbro under 500whp, otherwise you need larger injectors.

NOT TO THREAD JACK* but just a quick question. I'm on a single walbro and PTE 1000cc injectors, I would like to switch to e85 on my FP red. Should I move up to 1450's? Currently sitting at 390whp at 26psi (previous owner so I dont know the IDC)

Personally, I'd go with the new FIC 1100's that way it gives you room to grow. But the smallest that I think you can get away with are 850's.

Yes, currently I have 1350's with the Red. 1450's would have been better.

I run 1000cc's. 400whp still have injector left. It really depends on what your goal is.
