My Evo is stock, only EBC. Stock boost is 11psi. (Must be 19psi WHY?! )

you must have your EBC set on Auto mode. Set it to manual and up the boost...

 

Dude, he's from the Ukraine. I bet his English is a lot better than your Russian...

That is not normal, btw (11psi). Unless you guys have crappy gas over there and can't run higher boost, I would take it back to the dealer.

FYI~ Auto mode on an EBC is only useful on low boost cars. Not the high boosting EVO

Yaroslav, it should be around 5 secs. I haven't tested mine, but a friend with similar mods was getting 4.2 secs to 60. Good luck!

 

damn, 4.2 with just an EBC?

Mine's completely stock, and ive gotten it down to 0-60 in 5.0 seconds, on a 5000rpm drop. Havn't tried a 6500 drop yet, but im hoping to break 5

 

Then people wounder why things go wrong with their evo's.

 

I got a 4.62 two days ago with two other people in the car and the A/C still on. I'll try to get better numbers tomorrow when I race at the track. I should be able to get a 4.4-4.5 without that extra 300 lbs.

 

4.2 is with a lot of mods ~ 310whp. I took a couple of friends out for a ride the other day and they were shocked how much faster my car is from stock. Like I said before, 5.0 or so is good for stock Evos. That should be your target, Yaroslav.

 

rebelzx, how did you measure the 4.62 seconds? was it at the track or with a TT?

 

4.2 (I think) using an online calculator with 1/8 mph and et.

 

With my TT. The only thing completely accurate on it are the speedo and 0-60 functions because they rely on the speedo signal only to get their readings. Stock I got a 5.4, but that was in the rain and with a ****ty launch.

 

If you have the hks electronic boost controler... there is two versions of it... the psi version which i think i $100 more and the kpa version....i think you have kpa
