What are the average stock EVO 5-60mph times?

well, sure, but look...heres the point:
if the test was starting at 3000 rpm, then the EVO would perform pretty well...
and if the test was staring at 1000rpm, it would do horribly.
Certain cars, like the m3, the Corvette, amongst others, would do well in BOTH categories.
REGARDLESS of how infrequent one drives a car at 1000rpm, this is a disadvantage the EVO has nonetheless.
What defines realistic? is it practicality?
-because if it is, i wouldn't call dropping the clutch at 5-6k rpm to get the same 0-60 / quartermile times as an m3 or corvette would get from 2000rmp normal launches realistic either
Not really sure, as I don't have one. but I read somewhere stock was 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.
Too good to be true? Well, it's probably 4.9 it you know how to work the car properly/good driver/etc.
vroom.

HUH???
we're talking about 5-60 acceleration without a clutch drop.
Its not how you stand by your car, its how you drive the car. J/k Fast n furious-B.S. Why does anyone care about a 5 to 60 its 0 to 60 that people give a sh.. about. It really isnt accurate that people are testing their Evo times against one another. One might have a lead foot or the other might dump the clutch and the other drives like ol' grandma. My Evo is modded and I run at least 4.8s 5-60. A stop watch is accurate in my opinion just dont cheat yourself. Driving it to the max with 21psi and red line it at 320whp. Stock,....mmmm...sub 5's still. Its a friggin Evo.
