What are the average stock EVO 5-60mph times?

Was wondering if anyone knew the average time a STOCK Evo goes from 5-60mph. I want to compare my results...I assume you would be in the 1500-2000RPM range in 1st gear??

I want to time mine with a stopwatch, not the most accurate but cheap nonetheless

I posted this in Drag Racing...but I don't think it belongs there so I posted it here. I can't delete the post or else I would have.

The time should be quicker than the 0-60 time. You are starting from 5 mph rather than zero. This is provided you are in first gear though where you will be launching with some spin on the engine. If you are in second however then it will be slower because you will be inder the sweet spot. I know because when I am cruising around parking lots in first gear and just give it a little gas the car leaps harder than when I am just coming off idle.

You're saying the rolling 5-60mph time should be FASTER than a 0-60mph time with a 6k launch?

Definatly not!!!! at 5mph you are below your boost, meaning you have a crap load of boost lag!

i dont think that a 5-60 would be faster than 0-60 because of the fact that when you are going 0-60, you are normally dropping from around 5.5k rpm.. and your turbo is at full spin.. where as when you go from 5-60 you have that little tad bit of turbo lag, unless you rev it up and dump the clutch.. just my 2 cents..

EVO is a pig from 5mph. It ONLY gets these fast *** 0-60 MPH and 0-60 FEET is due to the AWD launch. Look at Buschurs EVO running 0-60 MPH (Yes Miles per HOUR!) in 2.9 seconds... I bet if he took off from 5mph that figure would be up to 4 or even 5 with their power.

God, this has to be the worst reasoning i have come across in a long time.

But to cut to the chase, you're wrong.

5-60, well, at 5 mph, u can drop ur clutch rev to 6K and drop it back in...that'll be fast and also fast on ur drivetrain and clutch.

You've got a mighty fast Evo there! I'm lucky to get that kind of number with a pretty strong 0-60 launch.

There might be some driver error due to my clicking abilities of the stopwatch. I will try some more to verify. I am modded too
