If SMC is out of business. Does anyone know where to get the pumps repaired? Is anyone else having the same problem?

 

mine wnet **** up after I ran some RC car nitro-methane through it. The lubricant in it swelled the seals, so I started looking up new pumps or rebuild kits. When I called SMC i was dumbfounded companies like this still exist. They were so awesome about it: 1. i boughy the kit used 2. I already fully disassembled the kit 3. I told them all of this haha. The guy I spoke with on the phone said "we take care of our guys, drop it in a box and we will fix you up". So I shipped it to them with all the lil pieces of the pump in a cigarette cellophane lol. They put the whole sha-bang back together with a brand new cap on the tank cuz mine was cracked then shipped it back for free.

To me that was more than you could even ask for, so to repay them I take every opportunity I get to tell how ppl how great these guys are!!! A lot of vendors on here could learn from them.


to OP: if you are having trouble getting ahold of them the pump is probly FLO0jet which you can just search for the part number printed on the pump on ebay, I think i found new pumps for 50 bux. Oddly enough its a sink pump for RV's
