Hey all, I was informed by Buschur that SMC has gone out of business/production but still supporting the products.

The other day I had a nice little elctrical issue where I arc'ed the line so I put a hole through it. I am looking for a replacement line and I attempted to email SMC (I think I found the email off of SMCEnterprises.com but that site just shows some air filter/fan for workshops. so I hope it is right.

If that is not right, does anyone know the length of the V2 trunk kit to front of car. and the line size? -3AN?

Anyone know of a cheap place to get the lines cheap?

Depending on how you route it, somewhere around 17 ft IIRC. Out here we have House of Hose, not sure if you have them back east. Really, any hose shop that has -04 teflon lined braided SS will work. I would suggest you pull the existing line & just take it to them & have them make a duplicate.

 

Ok perfect it is -04, wasn't sure if it was -03. Do you know the size npt brass fittings on the end? They were crimp ones so this would need to be a new fitting as well.

Just have the hose shop crimp both ends on, shouldn't be more than a couple bucks.

 

Hmm, I can't find a -04AN to 1/8th npt crimp...

 

Whatever hose shop you go to will have it, you can also buy a -04 to 1/8 fitting & use normal jic hose ends.
