Just got the evo!

ok just got my evo delivered about 3 mins ago, got one quick question.

Should i have 2 let the clutch out alot 2 get the car in gear, it seems like there is alot of play before the clutch engages the car.

thanks!

My stock clutch is the same; engagement point is very high. Is yours still on the stocker?

stage 3 what?

could be adjustment, install, or ready to be replaced....its hard to say, ask the seller how many miles are on it and how hard he drives it. If he is being truthful and says not many and easy then it could be an adjustment issue, improper install, or just "the way it is". If he says lots and hard, its probably time for a new clutch.

My clutch releases semi-high, Its a ACT street disk. My girlfriends car has a excedy triple disk, Her clutch engages very very low. The exedy twin disk releases where i think a clutch should release, About half way out.

I think it depends on the clutch pedal adjustment,No ? My exedy twin was engaging a little bit under half way and it's now adjusted and it is super low which is better imo...

All you need to do is a pedal adjustment and it should be fine!

I have mine almost all the way up on the adjustment and it still grabs fairly low. I've had instructors stall the car in grid.
