Need advice ASAP: Is this a fair price for a stock IX MR SE with 2,400 miles on it?

FJF's post is completely correct; very good advice.
BTW - that Evo in WA with 7k miles sold, they're just waiting on the title. It went for $24,500 it sounds like! That car sounds cherry! Sorry it didn't work out, but be patient and you'll find something that you'll be happy with.
I paid $32,500 I think for my MR, off the lot (had like 18 miles, or something like that). My upside-down truck brought me up to ~$36k though.

dude, the guy selling that car is delusional with that price. he might eventually find a moron to buy it, but i wouldn't want to be that moron. a buddy of mine bought a bone stock EVO IX MR with 14,000 miles for 21k. he's asking way over the book value, and the car just isn't worth that much.

At least you know where you stand. If this is all it took, then the car really isn't worth it to you. I can tell you with the utmost honesty that if I missed out on my SE and had a chance to purchase a comparable car 4 years later, a price premium wouldn't matter that much. This is why I kept asking what it's worth to you. We all have varying points of comfort.

LMFAO at the guy who said "....19 y/o kid working 60 hours a wk to pay for insurance...." soooooooo true when your 17-29 lol. Although one would figure that any 19y/o kid who has a 2003-2007 evo probably either had parents pay for it or got some sort of settlement/inheritance (cant believe decent evos still run $15k and up.....have u seen the prices for a 2005 dodge charger lol).
Anyways I love EVO 8-9 definatly a dream car to alot of people. Dont know too many people who see a Kia Rondo at 1st glance and dream and save up for years to afford the car payment and insurance so with that said IF YOU GOT DA $$$$ get DA EVO, but people dont give advice for nothing especially SOUND advice and experienced advice.
Hmmmm what else could i get with almost 30 grand? D/P on a house? Leguna seca blue M3? G35 or G37 with enuf cash 4 mods? SKYLINE? SUPRA? Lexus LS460 grey primered with gun metal rims......MMMMMMMMMMM

FJF is right, as usual.
I paid a premium for a pristine one-owner IX MR w/Appearance Package a few months ago. I wanted an IX MR, and I was even considering one of the new/untitled ones at South Coast. When this one turned up, and I knew the owner, and he had all history and was a "mature" driver, and had low miles to boot, I paid up.

I find it odd that some of you say its stupid to spend a few extra thousand for a car you like...take a look at your sigs and the thousands burnt on mods you will never recover.
Find the car you want and buy it for a fair price. A few grand in the scheme of things won't amount to ****. MR's and SE's don't grow on trees. One production year. Numbers dropping every year. Crash victims. Rice victims.
