shame that the state of IL passed law prohibiting citizens to have guns and defend their property,,, but problem is thiefs dont play by the law they will still cary guns.

Ugh New Jersey is the worst place to own a car - this state is full of scumbag thieves.

 

At first, I thought this happened in Elmwood Park, NJ. Was about to post something but I decided to read the whole thread instead. Was your car got stolen in NJ?

I've had my EVO broken into 2 times! I think the first time they were trying to steal the whole car. Both times the SOB's tried prying the door handle to pop the lock from the OUTSIDE! Then they opened the door and tried to start the car by prying the ignition lock after braking the cover around the lock. Totally ***ked up the steering column. At some point they realized that the car wouldn't start cause they didn't have the key and left. Took my boost gauge though. So, I discover the damage as I'm getting ready to drive to work in the morning. What a PITA. Getting it fixed took forever. Oh, and the best part was I needed a whole new door. It took months before it was all fixed. I ended up doing allot of the work myself, like the new ignition lock and getting it keyed the same as the rest of the car. All and all the whole experience sucked, and then it happened again in a different state 2 months later! Looking back at the experience I hope next time they somehow take the whole car and wreck it so I don't have to fix the damage and I get a new car instead. Good luck with your car.

motion lights, good hidden camera, decent alarm, not hanging out with dbags, removable steering wheel, low jack is a good place to start...lol best of luck getting the car back. People started stealing tons of cars by me but a few kids with good heads put them together and helped bring down a chop shop a half hour away within 2 days and got his car back along with some others. Not sure what happened to the kids who got caught but im sure it sucks to be them right now. It also stinks when you live in a smaller town and alot of people know you or where you work. Basically people suck!lol
